The comprehensive education, training, and experience of Dr. J. Timothy Heffernan has led him to be regarded as one of the foremost oculoplastic surgeons in the Pacific Northwest.

Dr. Heffernan is a fourth generation Seattle native and received his medical education and completed his residency at the University of Washington. His credentials include board certification by the American Board of Ophthalmology, a Medical Doctorate (MD) degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine, and fellowships in Oculoplastic Surgery and Facial Cosmetic Surgery at Louisiana State University Eye Center and Oculoplastic Surgery at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami School of Medicine.

Dr. Heffernan also holds memberships in many prestigious professional and academic organizations. He is a member of the American Society of Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Washington State Medical Association, the Washington State Academy of Ophthalmology, and the King County Medical Society.
