We’re pleased to welcome Dr. Katherine M. Whipple as one of our featured injectors for June, 2017.
Katherine M. Whipple, M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist, fellowship-trained in Cosmetic and Reconstructive Oculofacial Plastic Surgery. She completed her accredited Ophthalmology Residency at the University of California San Diego and served as Chief Resident, an academic distinction. Following this Dr. Whipple completed the prestigious and highly sought after fellowship in Orbital and Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Shiley Eye Center, also at the Univeristy of California at San Diego.
During her fellowship, she performed thousands of reconstructive and aesthetic surgeries. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, published numerous chapters, presented internationally at scientific meetings, and even developed a novel technique to rejuvenate the aging eyebrows.
With exciting opportunities to practice all over the country, Dr. Whipple chose to return to Rochester, NY to practice. This is close to her hometown of Webster, New York where she was born and raised. She takes immense pride in serving the community she grew up loving.
